Hastings Pride Festival Pet Parade 2025

This Pet Parade Participation Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between IDEA Hastings, hereafter referred to as the “Organizer,” and the undersigned participant (“Participant”).
1.Eligibility
All pets must be domestic animals and accompanied by an adult (18 years or older). Animals must be healthy, non-aggressive, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.
Registration
Participants must register by June 14th at 9:30am. By signing this contract, Participant agrees to abide by all rules and regulations established by the Organizer.
3. Parade Guidelines
Pets must be leashed, caged, or properly restrained at all times.
Costumes and decorations must not harm, distress, or restrict the pet.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
No aggressive animals or animals in heat will be allowed.
The Organizer reserves the right to deny participation to any pet or owner who does not comply.
4. Liability Waiver
The Participant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Organizer, its affiliates, volunteers, and sponsors from any and all liability, damages, or claims arising out of participation in the Pet Parade. This includes, but is not limited to, injury to any person or animal, or damage to property caused by the Participant or their pet.
5. Media Release
By participating, Participant grants the Organizer permission to use photographs, video, and/or likenesses of the Participant and their pet for promotional and marketing purposes, without compensation.
6. Cancellation
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
